Lucky

Well, went back home to Indiana for the weekend for prom. The drive was like 9 hours. I made it there safe. Mom insisted I call her every time I stopped for anything so that she would "know where to start looking for you if you disappeared" Thanks mom...as if I wasn't already worried. I got to the lake just fine, after stopping to see my best friend at work first. I spent Saturday afternoon helping my Gram plant flowers. I left her house to go to my friend's around 1:30. I got ready at Laurel's house and we went to prom together with her bf. Prom was great, although I went stag, I had plenty of people to dance with. This guy, Thomas, who is just adorable asked me to dance, it was nice. So, after prom we went out to IHOP and then back home. The next mornning I left for home around 11. I was just about in down town Indianapolis, across from that big methodist hospital on I-65, when my left front tire blew. I was in the far left lane, and there was someone right next to me on the right. So when the car swerved left, i went with it. I smashed into the left retaining wall going about 60mph, the car then threatened to start spinning out of control and the rear drivers side smashed into the left retaining wall. The car then bounces across all three lanes of traffic and smashed into the right retaining wall. I finally managed to stop the car and get it pulled over. The car was full of dirt which had come from the plants i was bringing home for mom. Mangled pots and dirt were everywhere. everything was disheveled, but nothing was really irreplaceable. My only real injuries were a sore neck, bruised shoulder, and bruised collar bone. I sat in the car, trying to figure out what to do. I finally got myself to stop shaking and called Gram and Gramps. They came to my rescue, and were there within an hour and a half. The damage to the car was all superficial and the engine was fine. So, I was ok and the car was kinda ok. Now we had to figure out how to get me home in time for class the next day at 3pm. It was now about 3:30. So they decided to put me on a bus. We went the the station, bought me a ticket for the 6:45, and went to eat. After subway, gram and gramps said their goodbyes and left.

Thankyou

Dear Anyonamous,

To the person who posted on my last post...Your comment was deleted on accident. I apprieciate your explination, although none was due. It is not cowardly to value anyonimity, when you are not being insulting. I apprieciate you pointing out how the Bible was misrepresented. In all honesty, however, what is said on here does not effect my life all that much, I am simply disgusted by those who assume to be better than others. The whole "hollier than thou" thing doesn't go well with me. I would encourage you to contunue posting on here...just be sure to let me know it's you somehow. On the note of my "boyfriend" (which might I add, he is not - that is a title a person must earn, but in the loosest of translations, he is my friend and he is a male) he lives in his own house, and pays rent to his father who owns it. He has a son from when he was married and pays support each month. He has money for a house saved up, a lot actually, and within the next year or so will be buying his own place. In order to maintian his responsibilities, he has sacraficed many things, one of which being hios dream of his own place. He does however have a good job and a nice car. He's also back in my good graces because he called me today. I was so afraid that he would be angry, but instead he was very understanding. We only spoke briefly because we were both busy, but things are ok. I know that he's not angry, and that I didn't ruin any potential relationships. Once again, thankyou for your comments, I really apprieciate your input. If you would like, you can email me and we can chat in depth, unless I am the person whom you wish to remain unknown to. In that case, this mediam is fine.

-Thankyou to everyone who has posted, even that original "fire and brimstone" poster - - it was good for a laugh

To Anonymous,

If you don't have the balls to put your name on your post, then don't post. Especially when it involves insulting me and my family. If you are too cowardly to take credit for your oppinion, then it isn't worth anyone's attention. - Thanks, Jerra
